The Lofttown

The Lofttown offers a perfect student accommodation for the ecologically-minded. The most advanced building materials were used to make it a bio-sustainable building that impacts the environment as little as possible. The food served to inhabitants is organic, seasonal and locally produced.

A perfect location for student living

The excellent, central location of The Lofttown Barcelona in the Gracia neighbourhood makes it easy to explore the city. Take a stroll along Paseo de Gracia, also known as the ‘Avenue of Luxury’, located only 200 metres from the Lofttown. It’s lined with designer stores and big name shops, cafés and bars — and it’s home to some of the city’s most famous architecture, including Casa Batlló and Casa Milà, popularly known as La Pedrera. The famous Avenida Diagonal is even closer, a mere 100 metres from the Lofttown.

Not only is the Lofttown close to some of the most exciting things in Barcelona, it also has great transport links with metro lines L3 and L5 just a 5-minute walk away and lots of bus and tram lines also close by.

Staying at the Lofttown

The Lofttown offers single and double rooms, giving you the option to share with somebody else or have the room all for yourself. In a shared room you’ll share a bedroom and a bathroom with a roommate, while in a private room you get your very own bedroom with an en suite bathroom just for you.

Some of the rooms have a private terrace, where you can relax, hang out and enjoy Barcelona’s Mediterranean climate. You can opt to have your own private kitchen, or pay a little extra for full-board or half-board accommodation if you’d like to eat at the buffet and enjoy freshly-prepared seasonal, local and organic food. If you get hungry outside meal hours, we also provide vending machines where you can buy some snacks.

There are also two rooms available for people with reduced mobility in case you need them. Both of these are double rooms.

The Lofttown also provides a self-service laundry so that you don’t have to take your clothes to a launderette.

What is included in the rent at the Lofttown?

If you buy for a half or full board, some or all of your meals will be included in the rent, which means you can enjoy the buffet of tasty, organic food we provide every day.

We have cleaners to make sure you don’t have to worry about cleanliness. All common areas are cleaned daily and all rooms are cleaned once a week. During the weekly cleaning, we will also provide you with fresh towels and bedsheets. 

We know life without the internet is not fun. That’s why all rooms have access to a high-speed Wi-Fi and an additional emergency network in case the main connection goes down. The Lofttown has great transport links, but if you want to bring some modes of transport of your own, we offer car parking and bike storage, as well as a recharging space for electric cars.

In case you have any problems, there is a maintenance team that will be happy to address your problems. There is always a staff member present at the reception 24 hours a day and the building is monitored by CCTV so you can feel safe at all times.

Free time at the Lofttown is great

Lofttown Barcelona provides 1,200 square meters of common areas, so you’ll have lots of space where to hang out in the leisure and terrace areas. If you want to work out, you can do that at the on-site gym. If you want to just kick back and relax, catch a movie in the film room or have a PlayStation night at the games room.

The Lottown also offers a great calendar of events. If you need help with your studies or just want to broaden your horizons, there are tutoring and language classes available. If you want to know where all that locally produced food comes from, you can visit the farms where it is grown and make sure you really know the source of your food.
