There is also a wide range of rooms available – so you can find something to fit your needs. Here’s a round-up:
- Private Ensuite Room – this is probably the most common type, private room with your own bathroom/ WC. Kitchen/ dining area will be shared with other students (typically 5-8 people). The bonus is you can share with friends, so when you are looking to book this accommodation then all you and your friends need to do is sign-up on our website and when you speak to the booking consultant mention the names of your friends – and leave the rest to us! The majority of properties have a range of living arrangements – from twin rooms, to small flats of four to larger flats of six or more, there’s something for everyone.
- Private Studio – this is a totally private space where you have your own bedroom, bathroom/ WC and a kitchenette (or kitchen area) for your own use.
- Twin Studio or Twin Room – this would be a shared room for 2 people, good if you are looking to move in with your friend. It will either have it’s own kitchen area like in a studio or it would be shared with other students in the cluster.
University Accommodation:
You might be staying at the university provided housing which will normally be offered to you if you are a first year student. This would typically be campus based and you either have a room and bathroom with communal living space, or the same format but with a shared bathroom. You will have limited choice in room, as it’s usually assigned rooms, and you would need to take a full years’ rent as a standard. We would suggest checking this with your university accommodation department.
