I am going to university in September, can I still book my student accommodation?
Yes, absolutely – there are thousands of rooms still available. Student accommodation is reacting to the Coronavirus and putting in place unique policies to give students confidence to book their perfect room, but to be able to cancel for free & get a full refund if there are any issues with attending University in September.
Look out for the Coronavirus Policy on our properties which explain the particular policy for each property.
A lot of properties also offer a No Visa, No Fee and No Place, No Pay policy as well. These mean that if you don’t get a visa to come to the UK or you don’t get a place at your University for whatever reason, you get the same full refund and free cancellation.
Just ask your expert booking consultant if you have any queries with these policies.
How can I see the properties if I can’t view them?
You can still view them remotely, but this is dependant on each student accommodation partner. What we do have on the website is a gallery for each property – showing aspects of the room, communal spaces and exteriors. Plus some properties have Virtual Reality tours. The best option is to get in touch with our expert bookings team – via the telephone number on top right-hand corner of the website – to connect with a member of team who can advise you.
Can I get my money back if university is cancelled still when I am due to go?
Student.com highlights properties that are the most flexible for providing refunds for new bookings if your scheduled move-in date is impacted by Coronavirus (through unable to travel or university course delayed or cancelled). If you have any questions regarding the property specific terms and conditions surrounding Coronavirus, you can ask a member of the bookings team at the point of booking your student accommodation.
Any other questions? Please contact your booking consultant directly (via email or telephone), use our 24/7 chat on our website or call your local team on the telephone number listed on the top right-hand corner of the website.
At Student.com we are committed to helping support students around the world during this challenging time. We are here for you.
