On the weekend, leave your student accommodation at University Park and spend the day exploring Brisbane. The express bus stops right out outside your door, which means that you can reach the city in less than 30 minutes. Head to Southbank to visit Queensland Art Gallery and Museum, then browse the stalls at Southbank Crafts Village. Stop for gourmet fish and chips at Swampdog, then top up your tan on Southbank Beach.
Your student room is conveniently close to campus, so you can walk to class at Griffith University in around 25 mins. If you’re short of time, drive there in five minutes flat.

Make your student budget stretch further by choosing a room with a shared bathroom, or enjoy more privacy when you opt for an ensuite.
