Scape Cleveland

At Scape Cleveland, you’re a short walk from class and closer still to some of the area’s top highlights. Discover everything from contemporary art shows to weekly farmers' markets at Carriageworks’ converted railyard. Catch up with friends over a cup of gourmet coffee whilst getting your bike repaired at the Town Bike Pitstop, or escape the urban hubbub in beautiful Prince Alfred Park. With a heated public pool and acres of pretty picnic lawns, the park is the ultimate summer hangout spot.

From Scape Cleveland, it’s a 10-minute walk to UTS and the University of Sydney. When you’re not in class, grab your bike from the storage racks and explore the local area, or use the great bus connections to get around town. Discover the foodie’s paradise of Cockle Bay Wharf or spend an afternoon sunbathing at Bondi Beach.

In between adventures, come home to your apartment at Scape Cleveland for a well-earned rest. Swipe your card at the entry gate, then switch on the air con and curl up on your living room sofa in front of the TV. Refuel with a snack from the fridge, then use the Wi-Fi to research your assignments at your bedroom desk. If you don’t have a laptop, get online at the iMac stations instead.

When you’re finished working, clear your mind with a session in the yoga room, or keep fit in the on-site gym. Throw your clothes in the laundry facilities, then take a shower in your private ensuite bathroom. Afterwards, head to the games room to catch up with your friends, or to watch the big game on the comfy couches.

In the evening, fire up the BBQs in the outdoor courtyard and eat alfresco under the stars, or make something tasty in your apartment kitchen. Later, get dressed up and head to the neighbouring Eveleigh Hotel for cold beers and live music, or to Freda’s for tapas and cocktails. When you get home, you can rest easy knowing that your all-inclusive rent covers bills, and 24-hour CCTV.
