Quaker’s Hill train station is a 10-minute walk away and from there it takes around 15 minutes to travel to Blacktown or just under an hour to reach Sydney’s CBD.
You don’t need to leave home to have fun, because you’ll soon get to know your neighbours at Western Sydney University Village. There are regular residents’ events like pancake breakfasts, movie nights and themed parties, and you’ll find it easy to make new friends in the student lounge, where you can watch TV, or play pool and table tennis.
On balmy summer evenings, fire up the grills in the barbecue area to cook dinner with friends until the sun sets. In winter, head back to your villa or lodge where you can whip up your favourite meals in your fully equipped kitchen. Sit down and eat in the communal dining area, then catch up with your roommates in the spacious lounge area.
There’s free Wi-Fi throughout, so you can study or Skype friends back home whenever you like. If you need to work on an assignment, retreat to the peace and quiet of your room, where there’s a comfortable study space complete with a desk and chair, bookcase and pinboard.
There are two on-site laundries where you can keep your clothes clean, and the Resident Assistants and management team are always available to help if you run into any problems. You can rest assured that you and your belongings will be safe and sound, thanks to CCTV and secure door entry.
