Get some fresh air each day by leaving your student accommodation and going for a bike ride through Stoke-on-Trent’s parks, or along the canal. Shop at intu Potteries. Play tourist for the day, finding out more about the city’s famous pottery links by visiting the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery or Emma Bridgewater Factory, stopping for a drink the café. Take a picnic to Hanley Park and sit by the lake or try the local oatcakes. Spend evenings catching a show at the stunning art deco Regent Theatre, dance the night away at The Sugarmill or have a quiet pint at traditional pub, The Glebe.

Take a 15-minute walk each day to classes at Staffordshire University, Stoke-on-Trent Campus. Keele University is a 15-minute drive away, or around 37 minutes by bus. While you’re at home you’ll find all you need within a short walk with supermarkets, pubs and cafés in your local area. The train station is 10 minutes’ walk from your door if you want to hop on a train and spend days out in Birmingham, Manchester or Liverpool.

Come home to your ensuite bedroom where you can make yourself a snack in the communal kitchen, or splash out and stay in one of the new duplex rooms where you’ll have your own kitchen and split-level living space. Either way you’ll have plenty of fitted storage, a comfortable bed to snooze on and desk and chair to study at when it’s time to get on with your work. The rooms have views over the courtyard or city skyline. If you opt for a larger apartment you’ll have a sofa to relax on in the evenings as you watch the wall-mounted TV.

Enjoy spending time in the communal lounge area or chat with your friends in the guest lounge when they come to visit. If you want to keep fit you’ll have access to a fully equipped gym. Work out between classes then take the lift back to your room. You’ll find it easy to manage your money with all inclusive rent that covers utilities and Wi-Fi.
