Walk outside your door every morning and listen to birdsong as you walk to lectures at Macquarie University. At lunch, wander over to the Campus Hub and tour the Food Court, choosing from Mexican, Thai or a fresh salad to fuel your afternoon. Spend evenings on campus at a gig or watching a play. It’s an easy walk home after a night out with friends. The university train station is a short walk away, and from there you can be in the heart of Sydney in around half an hour if you want to get to know this beautiful city.

When you get home to Student Village Top Ryde, head to the student lounge, where you can put down your shopping bags and relax on the couches as you watch a little TV. Play a game of pool or table tennis with housemates, or catch up with your neighbours in the outdoor area for a barbecue. If you still have energy to burn, enjoy a game of volleyball on the grass courts.
