Commons on Kinnear

Living at The Commons on Kinnear, you can meet friends in downtown Columbus after class. Meet for evening drinks at one of Gay Street’s lively bars and restaurants – swing by Tip Top Kitchen and Cocktails. At the weekend, stroll the Scioto Mile down by the river, and have fun choosing your favorite hot dog at Dirty Frank’s Hot Dog Palace on South Fourth Street. On the first Saturday of each month, check out the Short North arts neighborhood, known as the ‘art and soul’ of Columbus, where the legendary Gallery Hop celebrates art with street performers, food and exhibition openings.

It’s easy to get to uni from The Commons, as it’s right on the CABS bus route. Ohio State University is less than 15 minutes’ walk away, while Columbus State Community College and Columbus College of Art & Design are within 15 minutes by car. You’ll also find DeVry University’s Columbus campus within a 20-minute drive.

Whether you make your home in your own studio or share an apartment with friends, wake up and start your day with a workout in the on-site fitness center or pool. After a refreshing shower, catch up with your housemates over coffee and waffles in your fully equipped kitchen before heading to lectures.

When you’re done on campus, come home to cram in some extra studying using the Wi-Fi. Open your books on the desk in your room, or use the on-site computer lab and study center, where you can print off your latest paper.
