On Saturdays, follow in the footsteps of literary greats like James Joyce and William Butler Yeats, and head out of your student accommodation to explore the streets of Dublin. Learn about the city’s literary heritage at Dublin Writer’s Museum, then head to The Palace Bar for a pint of Guinness — look out for the brass plaque on the lamp post outside paying tribute to its famous literary patrons. Afterwards, explore the Temple Bar district: pick up a paperback at The Gutter Bookshop, shop for vintage fashion at The Designer Mart, and sample delicious produce at The Temple Bar Food Market.

At Cabra Park, you’re a 25-minute bus ride from Dublin City University, and you can walk to Trinity College Dublin in 30 minutes. If you’re in a hurry, catch the bus from the nearby stop and get there in less than 20 minutes. If you have your own car, there’s on-street parking.

When you wake up every morning in your five-bedroom shared house, you’ll be able to roll out of bed and straight into the shower, as you’ll have your own ensuite bathroom. You’ll be sharing your twin bedroom with a roommate, which means that your house can accommodate a maximum of 10 students. The spacious living area and kitchen means that you’ll enjoy a great social atmosphere and will never be short of company.

After a busy day of lectures, head home to catch up with your housemates over coffee. Relax on the living room sofa, or take your cup out to the backyard to get some fresh air as you chat about your day.

There’s free Wi-Fi throughout, which means it easy to tackle your college work, or keep in touch with friends and family back home on Skype.

When hunger strikes, you’ll find everything you need to cook dinner in your large, kitchen, which is equipped with a fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, and kettle. There’s also a washer/dryer, so you won’t waste any time or money on trips to the launderette. There’s a supermarket nearby where you can stock up on essential supplies, and there’s a great choice of fast-food joints, restaurants and cafés for days when you’re too tired or busy to cook.
