Set foot outside your student accommodation and go shopping along the grand Via dell’Indipendenza. Explore cobblestoned streets and majestic squares on your way to eat out at one of the city’s many restaurants, delis and bars. Grab a pizza near home at La Bella Napoli, or burgers at Well Done Caprarie. Take in views of red terracotta rooftops on your way down Via Zamboni, a street bustling with students on their way to and from the university. Spend nights out in the bars on Piazza Verdi, or a quiet evening watching a film at the nearby Cinema Arlecchino.

Take a walk through Bologna’s city centre, stopping to sip an espresso at one of the café bars on your way to the University of Bologna. You’re a 15-minute walk to campus, or if you need to get that last-minute reading done before class, catch the bus that’ll take you there in around 15 minutes. You’re within walking distance of the main square, Piazza Maggiore, and the train station, which is perfect if you want to take day trips to Florence or go away for a weekend in Rome.

Come home, take the elevator up to your apartment and hang your coat on the coat stand as you start telling your housemate all about your day. Get changed in your bedroom, where you’ll find a large closet and two single beds that can be separated or kept together if you’re a couple sharing. There’s also a sofa bed in the spacious lounge. The kitchen and lounge are open-plan, so you can watch TV while you cook. You’ll have all the appliances you’ll need, including a dishwasher to take care of the dishes.

Air conditioning and heating will ensure you’re always the right temperature and you can get on with studying at the dining table in the lounge area or at the desk in the bedroom. Freshen up each day in your large bathroom where you’ll find a shower, plenty of room on the countertops for all your bathroom essentials and a washing machine below the counter.
