Head out of Belgrave View and toss a coin: shopping at the Bullring or a stroll around the seven acres of hidden gem, Winterbourne Botanic Gardens? Whichever you choose, it’s just a short hop by bus, either north or south. Head into the city and once you’re done at Selfridges, you could head to Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery for the afternoon. Just make sure you pop into the historic Bacchus Bar for lunch and to ogle the incredible decor. Back in Edgbaston, unwind with a walk around the reservoir or a cool drink in local’s favourite, The Plough.

At Belgrave View (formerly CLV Birmingham), you will be best situated for University of Birmingham, which is 20 minutes away by bus. However with the city centre only 15 minutes’ walk away, Aston University and Birmingham City University are also accessible with a little more effort.

What you may trade in close proximity to your campus, you make up for with more space and new facilities at Belgrave View. You can comfortably fit a two-seater sofa in the biggest of the all-ensuite rooms, along with a comfy bed and space to study.

There are plenty of reasons to leave your room though. You could head down to the social space and sharpen your pool skills. Or, for something a little less competitive, jump on a bike in the free gym and sweat it out.
