Head out your door and walk 10 minutes to class at the Lansdowne Campus of the University of Bournemouth. Stroll the same distance in the other direction to the heart of town, where you can shop for essentials or grab a bite to eat. The train station is 15 minutes from home if you want to spend a weekend away.
When classes are in full swing you’ll love relaxing in the social spaces at Mercury House. The common area makes a focal point of the building’s curved wall and pendant lighting and stylish couches make the perfect place to relax after a day of lectures. Play a game of pool or just watch TV and chat with fellow students.
To freshen up, head to your modern studio and use the ensuite bathroom. All studios have small double beds so you’ll have plenty of space to stretch out and read through notes if you don’t want to sit at your desk. The work area has fitted shelving where you can keep your textbooks in order, and there’s plenty of storage space for all your belongings as well.
If you fancy a snack, use the kitchen space in your studio to make yourself a bite to eat. The integrated appliances are in keeping with the stylish decor of your room and make cooking a pleasure. Sit at the breakfast bar to eat as you use the Wi-Fi to catch up with your family back home.
