It’s a pleasant 15-minute stroll to Anglia Ruskin University from The Railyard. A little longer and you’re at Cambridge University but it’s really easy to get around by bike and be there even more quickly. You can store your wheels safely in your building when you’re not using them.
You can choose to live in one of three buildings: Stephenson and Telford have a lively atmosphere, so they’re perfect if you’re looking for fun. Calm and quiet Brunel is ideal if you want to just concentrate on your studies.
No matter which building you choose, you’ll feel right at home in your comfortable room. Each one has a big, comfy bed, study area and plenty of storage. If you’re new to Cambridge, sharing a flat is the fastest way to make new friends. As well as sharing a kitchen and living area, you can get together in the funky games room or lounge, or take your books out into the courtyard to get some fresh air. Choose a studio if you prefer to live privately, and you’ll benefit from your own fitted kitchen and a smart TV.
Fill your fridge at the nearby Sainsbury’s supermarket, or pick up a sandwich from The Bun Shop if you’re too busy to cook. You’re also only minutes from the excellent Taj Tandoori, which will deliver curry to your door.
There’s CCTV, an electronic entry system and an onsite management team, so you’ll always feel safe and secure. All your bills are included in your rent, and you can keep your laundry pile in check while having a friendly chat in the onsite laundry.
