Worst dormitory on earth! Don't let the room's pictures lure you. First, about the parcel: When the parcel arrives there's no email sent to you. You have to come down to check it with the book that written by reception detailing the number and the name of receiver. Second, There's fire alarm triggered everyday since the smoke detector located just above the kitchen and the exhaust hood works badly. There was a case that my friend wok up at 4am from the alarm and there're no security to shut it so my friend had to go down to shut it himself. Third, thanks to the bad room design, when you cook, the smell last for 3days at least. Fourth, they only let you open window 3cm wide. Fifth, the wall is so thin, it is easily to hear what the neighbour room talking. Sixth, this is a kind of dormitory that take us for granted. At first, they promised me to get the room ready by 22/09/2018. But when i came, they just postponed the date without telling me when it's going to be finished, they just said they'll send me an email once they finished... . One month later until i was able to move in ( Without any wifi at my floor, i've to wait 3weeks until the wifi works). From what i've experienced, they only give me 100gbp refund. That's ridiculous. To sum up, stay away from this dormotory, there're many better dorms in Coventry. Recently, they have a policy that if anyone triggers the fire alarm from cooking, they will fine us for 52gbp. Instead of doing something with the fire alarm, they decided to collect the money from us. The fire alarm is never gonna be stoped, because of its awful position, but the owner of the building will only get richer from our money. ******* If you want to find out whether i said the truth or not, just come around the accommodation and ask anyone that lives here. You will get the same answer.
