Set yourself up for the day with a West Country Breakfast at Boston Tea Party café, then go underground with a tour of the medieval passageways that are hidden beneath the city’s streets. Back on solid ground, spend sunny afternoons relaxing on the lawn at Cathedral Green, or head for the bright lights of Princesshay shopping centre and treat yourself to a new outfit at one of the big name stores. Get back to nature with a stroll through the fantastic floral displays at Northernhay Gardens, or follow the cobbled paths to the quay and sit outside Bar Venezia for coffee, cake and people watching.

You’ll find it easy to get to and from university when you live at Kingfisher. Walk to the University of Exeter’s Streatham Campus in less than 20 minutes, or get to Saint Luke’s Campus in less than 10. When you want to travel further afield, you can stroll 11 minutes to Exeter Central train station.

After a busy day of lectures, you’ll look forward to getting home to your spacious, self-contained studio at Kingfisher. Freshen up with a hot shower in your ensuite bathroom, make a snack in your private fitted kitchen, then relax and watch your favourite shows on the Smart TV.

When you need to concentrate on your studies, your room has a well-designed study area, complete with a comfortable chair. There’s high-speed broadband and Wi-Fi throughout, which will come in handy when you need to research your next project. It’s just as easy to study with friends in the communal lounge when you don’t want to work alone.

With work out of the way, drop your clothes into the on-site laundry facility, then pop into the social space to see who’s about. Get to know your neighbours in the games room, or grab some popcorn and watch a movie together. When you’re in the mood for a night out, treat yourself to American-style steaks, ribs and cocktails at Starz Bar & Grill, then go dancing at Timepiece nightclub.

Back home at Kingfisher, you’ll get a good night’s sleep on your big comfy bed. Bills are included in your rent, and there’s CCTV and electronic door entry so you’ll always feel safe.
