From West Village, it’s a 15-minute walk to the University of Glasgow or you can cross the street to the subway station, and get there in just five. The University of Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian University are only 15 minutes away by subway too.
There’s a great community atmosphere at West Village, so you’ll quickly feel right at home. Take your books out to the internal courtyard where you can study in the sunshine, or watch cable TV in the comfortable lounge. There’s plenty of space to get together for a quiet chat or group study session and if you want to unwind, head to the games room to to play video games or table football.
With your own specially-designed study space, you’ll be able to get your assignments done in peace and privacy in your room, before falling onto your big, comfy bed for a great night’s sleep. You’ll have your own bathroom, so there’s no queuing for the shower and if you live in a studio, you’ll have your own private kitchen too. If you’re in a shared flat, you can meet up with your housemates in the communal, fully-equipped kitchen and take turns preparing dinner. When you don’t want to cook, there are some great restaurants nearby. The University Café is a local institution, and the £5 menu at The Sparkle Horse is hard to beat.
All the facilities you’ll need are close to hand, with an on-site laundry and a big supermarket across the street. Your bills are included in the rent and there’s super-fast Wi-Fi throughout the building as well as CCTV and 24-hour security to keep you safe and secure.
