With iQ Aspley Houseas your base, you have everything you need on your doorstep. Cross the street and you’re already on campus; walk for five minutes more and you’re in the Kingsgate Shopping Centre, which is full of great stores. Stroll across the fields to Castle Hill and enjoy spectacular views from the top of Victoria Tower. View work by Francis Bacon, LS Lowry and Henry Moore at Huddersfield Art Gallery, and party with friends at Camel Club.

It’s a five-minute walk to the University of Huddersfield and the town centre is just 10 minutes away. Catch one of the regular services to Leeds or Manchester from the nearby train station. The heritage-listed building and one of England’s most beautiful stations is 20 minutes from home.

There’s a lively atmosphere at iQ Aspley House, so it’s easy to make new friends. Join regular social events, get together with other residents to watch a movie in the cinema room, or hang out in the BBQ area and eat alfresco. Start your day at the on-site gym, then take your books to the study space so you can work together.

At the end of a busy day, relax in your room, which has a comfortable threequarter sized bed, personal study space and your own private bathroom. If you opt for a studio, you’ll have your own kitchen, otherwise you’ll share cooking facilities with other students. There’s free Wi-Fi and all your bills are included in your rent.

Walk a few minutes to the local supermarket to stock up on the essentials. When you don’t want to cook, get fish and chips from Blakeley’s of Brighthouse and if it’s sunny, sit by the canal and eat them out of the paper.

You won’t have to venture far from home to enjoy a good night out. Sip cocktails at Cotton Factory or sample the local ale at Rat & Ratchet. Back home at Aspley House, there’s 24/7 security to keep you safe as you sleep.
