At home, challenge your friends to a game of pool in the common room or an early morning gym session tomorrow (it’s open 6:30am - 10:30pm) or retreat to the sofas with your laptop (on 25MB of Wi-Fi) for a change of scene from your desk. Snacks from the vending machines dotted around the building will keep you going.

If it’s your turn to cook a meal for your flatmates, any essentials you forgot can be picked up from the convenience store downstairs. Or if you don't fancy it you can always pop over to the authentic My Thai on the fringes of the Merrion Centre to the rescue.

Whether you go for Classic or Premier rooms, everyone enjoys decent sized beds, high spec furnishings, glossy kitchens, bike storage and a laundry on-site. Like any stylish pad, you’ll pay a little more for the views further up the building  - but nothing beats getting out there and exploring the scene yourself.
