In the room is very comfortable but in the communal kitchen is quite untidy and dirty and sometimes other room listen to music and talk very loud which it interrupts my concentration during reading.

The room was not cleaned properly and had spiders in every corner of the room. The room is a good size but the room I got had no service in there.

arrived a month early and there were already issues.internet would regularly cut off (twice or more a day) and the student support on site wouldn't offer to fix it and when i asked them how long it would take to fix they wouldn't give a time frame.the kitchen had a weird odour and was not cleaned from the previous tenants, they stated that there would be cleaning supplies provide like a mop,hoover and dustpan and brush.there was neither.when i asked when they would provide it to me they said by the end of the week, a month in it still wasn't there.these problems were manageable to begin with however when the other roommates moved in it got worse.the walls were so thin you could hear anything that was going on.and the smell of weed through the other rooms would overpower even the odour in the kitchen.the place itself was dirty on arrival wot rubbish all over the property,and strung across the accommodation.the builders that were repairing the rooms initially left rubbish that i had to clean up. compared to other student accommodation there were no communal rooms or social spaces that meant you would not get to know the roommates and with internet going down regularly meant you couldn't really do anything.washing cost £5 to wash and dry per cycle meaning if you needed to wash you would have to go through all your clothes to get the most out of your money. on the other hand they provided a new mattress and a decent sized room which i would say was the only benefit that this accommodation has, also a en suite in which the shower was rusty and the toilet crammed into a corner so that they can claim they have an en suite but other wise it was cramped and dirty. would only recommend this accommodation if you desperately have to, with you coming home on weekends cause after 5 days you will no longer want to be there. the accommodation is close to university but you had to walk through Bede park and if you look at it on the news at night muggings are regular. all in all 2/5
