When you move into student accommodation at Queens Court, you’re well placed for enjoying the attractions of Leicester at the weekends. Take in a spot of culture by exploring Leicester’s past at the 600-year-old Guildhall, or look to the future with a fun day out at the National Space Centre. Meet your friends for a picnic by the river in beautiful Abbey Park - see if you can find the ruins of the 12th century abbey it’s named after. In the evening, grab a bite to eat at a popular restaurant like Crafty Burger or OGGI Simply Italian, before heading to a performance at the Curve Theatre.

You’ll have a fully-furnished studio apartment all to yourself when you make your home at Queens Court, or you can opt for a bigger pad that you can share with friends. The De Montfort University campus is right on your doorstep, so you can walk to lectures in minutes; it’s a 20-minute walk if you’re off to the University of Leicester. That means there’s plenty of time to relax in your ¾ bed before it’s time to shower, have breakfast and head to campus. With your home right behind the library, you’ll find it easy to pop back to your room if you’ve forgotten anything during the day. 

When you’ve finished on campus for the day, make the short walk home to open out your books on the desk in your room, and connect to the free broadband internet to get started on researching your next uni assignment. When you’ve had enough of studying for one day, join your mates for a well-deserved pint at nearby pub The Font.

When hunger strikes, order delicious burgers at The Font, or head home to Queens Court. There’s plenty of room for entertaining in your open-plan living area, so invite your friends round or get together with your housemates and have fun cooking up a feast in your kitchen. After dinner, curl up on the sofa to watch your favourite TV shows before you head to bed.
