It sits at the centre of the artsy, cultural Spitalfields with its boutique and vintage shopping extending up legendary Brick Lane to the clubs and galleries of Shoreditch. All this, some of London’s best markets, plus the banking and tech hubs of the Square Mile and the Silicon Roundabout are on your doorstep. Everything’s an option in this vibrant part of town.

From a location like this, getting to lectures at your university will be easy. You can get to King’s College London and University College London in about 20 minutes and to the London School of Economics (LSE) in about 25. Queen Mary University is only about 15 minutes away by tube and the Aldgate campus of the London Metropolitan University is basically at your doorstep, being just a 5-minute walk from your home.

If you feel like you want to spend your free time exploring and go further than London, you’re less than a 5-minute walk away from the large Liverpool Street train station.

Staying at Chapter Spitalfields

Chapter Spitalfields offers its residents three different types of rooms that you can choose from. All rooms have a private bathroom, a desk and a chair as well as a pinboard and storage space for all your belongings. 

If you book a shared apartment, you’ll share a bathroom and a kitchenette with other residents. In an en-suite room you’ll have your own bathroom and only share a kitchen. If you go for a studio, you’ll get a fully self-contained space, where you’ll have your own bathroom and kitchenette, perfect if you enjoy having some privacy all by yourself.

The kitchens are equipped with a hob, a combination microwave and a fridge with a freezer drawer.

What is included in the rent at the Chapter Spitalfields?

All bills are included. This covers electricity, water, gas and heating, as well as Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi is a 200MB dual-band connection that is available throughout the property. So if you want to stream a film or video call friends and family back home, you can do that as much as you like without having to worry about data. The rent also includes contents insurance to cover your belongings.

Property features

A luxurious student property like Chapter Spitalfields is about so much more than just your bedroom. When you need to get some studying, you can go to the on-site library to get some peace and quiet. When the studying is done, the fun can begin. You can head up to the 32nd floor of the building, where you’ll find a bar and lounge with magnificent views of the city. If you want some fresh air, head over to the 33rd floor balcony to really take in the view.

If you like to sing, there are two karaoke rooms for you to practice your voice and have a fun time with your new friends. You can also have fun in the games room where you can play pool or table football. If you like watching films from a screen larger than your laptop, just head to the residents’ private cinema to see the latest movies and sports events. There’s also an on-site gym for you to use when you want to get physically active and get some exercise.

When your clothes need washing, there’s no need to look for a dry cleaner. Just take your dirty laundry to the on-site laundry room where you can get your clothes washed quickly and easily. If you have any problems, there is staff present at the property 24/7, so any issues can be flagged right away. The staff will also be happy to sign for any packages if you have done some online shopping and are out on the town when your stuff arrives.
