With so much to see nearby, you don’t have to stray far from your student accommodation on weekends. Check out the ring-tailed lemurs living at Golders Hill Park’s free zoo, or hop on your bike for the 10-minute ride to central Hampstead. Meet your friends for all-day breakfast at local café Mani’s, then spend an hour or two browsing the designer boutiques that line the high street. In the evening, curl up with a glass of wine in front of the fireplace at cosy pub The Holly Bush, watch a movie in style at armchair-filled Everyman Cinema, or get tickets to a play at Hampstead Theatre.

From your furnished studio at Finchley Road, it’s a 20-minute bus ride to Middlesex University London. You’re a one-minute walk from the nearest bus stop and a six-minute bus ride from Finchley Road tube station - from there, it’s a half-hour hop to central London. Use these transport links to reach other city campuses, or to explore the capital on weekends. Attend a world-class exhibition at the Royal Academy of the Arts, or immerse yourself in SoHo’s riotous bar scene.

In the afternoon, come home through the property’s secure entry, then hang your coat up in the wardrobe and let the central heating work its magic. Raid the fridge for something to eat, then select your notes from the bookcase and sit down at your bedroom desk. Use the Wi-Fi to help research a paper, knowing that with internet and all other utilities included in your rent, you don’t have to limit your time online. When you need a break, wander out to the garden for a breath of fresh air.

Later, enjoy a long, hot shower in your private ensuite, then grab your towel from the heated rail and get dressed in front of the mirror. Take your dirty clothes to the on-site laundry, then head through to the kitchen to whip up something delicious for dinner. If you’d rather eat out, try Hana for authentic Persian stews, or Mill Lane Bistro for classic French cuisine. Spend the rest of the evening watching series with your friends on your flat screen TV, before going to sleep in your comfy double bed.
