    (Student at LSE) TLDR: Bed bugs. If you didn't come with them, you might leave with them! My fourth day here the red spots appeared across my body as I observed in disbelief, itching and panicking in agony. It couldn't be! I lifted my heavy mattress and inspected... there it was. A blood-filled, parasitic bed bug laying under my mattress, blissfully bloated on my blood. At least I had the evidence. Tangible. Vivid. Incontrovertible. Management would help out immediately, right? Not so fast. I presented the parasite along with the marks on my body where it helped itself to my blood. My concern was real, and I thought theirs was too. Alas, pest control was called, and I had to clear the area near the bed for treatment... The pest control 'expert' did nothing. The next week they were back to feasting on all the blood they could get. Mine. My room-mate's. Will you be next? I caught & presented bed bugs on 2 more occasions. 30+ bites. Panic! Trauma! Even in my clothes! Good luck.
