    The room itself is nice and spacious and the whole building in general is nicely furnished. The common areas however are not that great, since most of the games in the playing room were broken or didn’t work properly. The communication with the staff is pretty poor and sometimes no one would answer our calls for days. No support at all was provided during any part of the stay. The booking process was pretty stressful, since most of the details were changed the last day before moving in and reaching the staff was a hard thing. Overall, the facility itself is a pretty nice place and the price is reasonable, but the stress and the lack of support aren’t completely worth it.

    Located on St James Boulevard, students at Burgess House have the city centre on their door-step. Both Northumbria University and Newcastle University are just a 20 minute walk through the city centre, and with Newcastle Central Station just around the corner, students can travel to Sunderland in under 30 minutes.


    Burgess House is home to 110 students each year, offering a range of residencies, including our budget-friendly premium studios from just £130 per week, to our spacious deluxe apartments.


    Students at Burgess House get their own personal space to live in, whilst also having access to some great social areas in the building.
