At Quay Point Studios, get a good night’s sleep in your double bed, then wake up fresh in time for lectures. Eat breakfast in your kitchenette, then grab your books and make the nine-minute walk to Northumbria University. It’s a 17-minute walk to Newcastle University, but if you want to get there quicker, keep a bike in the on-site storage.
On weekends, use your local bus stops to get around town, or catch the train to Tynemouth from nearby Manors Station. In 25 minutes, you could be surfing the waves, or unwinding on the beach. At the end of the day, come home to your fully furnished apartment, check for post at reception, then stash your bags in the underbed storage and log on to the internet.
Catch up on your emails, before finishing a paper at your bedroom desk. When you’re done, tune your in-room TV to your favourite Freeview channel, or join your friends in the common room for a session on the gaming station. If you feel like a workout, head down to the on-site gym, then take your clothes to the laundry before freshening up in your ensuite bathroom.
