The room is clean when I first moved in, giving me enough space to decorate it to become a cosy and comfortable room to stay. Distance from my law school is definitely very near, just a 5-7 minute walk to campus. The management here is really attentive and helpful, making here a very tenant-friendly environment. The facilities here are a lot better than other student accommodation I came across so far. There are 2 washer-dryers in the shared kitchen, and I can use it as freely as I want, free of charge! I've introduced two of my friends to move here next semester, will definitely recommend this place again!

Foundry is just 2 minutes walk from Northumbria University and around 10 mintues to Newcastle University. The facilities are rather good and new. I have heard the management system is Siemens. Access password is allowed when entering Foundry, which guarantees security for us. There is common room for guests. The sofa and TV in the kitchen is rather nice. Neighbours are very friendly and we often play card games or chat at night. Personally I like Foundry very much and highly recommend this accommodation in Newcastle.

I moved into The Foundry at the end of September 2015 after a messy and stressful legal battle with our old estate agent which left us all feeling a bit down. The managament were really friendly, helpful and got all our paperwork done super quickly and we had the keys in 24hrs! The building itself is very vibrant with its orange and blue facade which makes for a cheery atmosphere and is a welcome break from some of the drab,severe and clinical halls across the city. One of the best things is my campus is only a 2 minuite walk away so I don't have to worry about delayed Metro's or bus' not showing and can sleep in a bit longer! The flats themselves are great! The HUGE kitchen is great and airy place to social with flatmate or friends. There is loads of storage units and cupboards for everyones things. All of the appliences are top end spec including a big dishwasher and washer dryers! In the 8 bed clusters I live in you get two of everything so no waiting to make food or do some washing. The massive solid wood dining table is a nice place to sit and have a communal dinner and (but also doubles up as a very effective beer pong surface!) because the kitchen is so big, its the perfect venue to host parties before a night on the town. You also get two comfy leather sofas and smart TV which you can watch Iplayer on and link up to Netflix so there is always something to watch. The rooms are cosy and have lots of storage space for clothes, books etc. 尉You get a full length desk which you can fit all your uni work on while typing as well as a nice wire tidy so you can thread chargers and wires up through the desk so you don't have to trail them everywhere.尉 There are two nice desk lights in the ceiling which I found useful if you are working late at night and the main one is too bright but they are also good for those early mornings when you're still half asleep! The beds are super comfy and you also get a bed side cabinet with a pigeon hole for bedtime reading but also a plug socket to charge your phone and a light switch above your bed so you don't have to get up to turn the light off when you're comfy! The large windows let in a lot of light but the blackout blinds are effective at keeping it out too! Bedroom also has a proper full length and full size mirror. En suite also has large wall mirror and a really nice shower that actually gets hot! Since all bills are included here you don't have to worry about having you're radiator on too much or having too many showers etc, Nothing worse than waking up in a cold room right? Downstairs there is a pleasant foyer with a football table and really comfy Chesterfield sofa's with vending machines for last night snacks. 尉Outside there is an enclosed courtyard you can sit on a nice day or have drink!尉 The property management even threw a barbecue once for all the residents! Overall, I love living here and would recommend to anyone!

I'm staying in a 8 rooms flat where there are 2 complimentary washing machines to use with the function of drying but there is no open place to hang the almost dry clothes except my own room. Thus I had to buy an airer and put it in my room. The room is big enough for one person staying and the bed is big too as it can fit for two person (small double size 120cm X 190cm X 19cm). The room air circulation not very good so I either will open the window when there is no strong wind (as the wind will blow all the dust and tiny leaf into the room) or switch on my tiny fan. Another issue is the room easily to get dusty, it's like today I swept the floor, tomorrow it becomes dusty again, I have no solution for that. Last, I'm not very used to the toilet as there is no water pipe beside the toilet bowl like Malaysia because UK citizens all use tissues or toilet rolls, but this is only a tiny issue, nothing serious. The Foundry is located in a strategic place. It is walking distance to my faculty (Law and business building, City Campus East (CCE) Northumbria University) like 7 minutes. Walk more further 10 minutes, there is tesco express. Morrison is also near the foundry where I can buy my weekly groceries with my flatmates at there as it is consider the CHEAPEST one compared with other store. There is also Sainsbury's local, the NEAREST one, where I can buy some necessity emergency there when the time is too late as it opens until 11pm as other store or mall normally will be closed at 8pm. The bus stop and metro(train) station are also walking distance from The Foundry, very convenient. The 4 flatmates here are my classmates too as we all together rent this accommodation. Other 3 flatmates are very nice too which are from China and Malaysia, so not a big issue in communication as we all can chat in Chinese, of course speak in English would not be a problem too. 公寓设施一级棒 去市中心也还可以，就是去学校的距离太远了点
