Jump on the bus and you can reach the University of Nottingham in around 15 minutes, or you can take a five-minute walk to both Nottingham Language School and Nottingham Trent International College. Bus and tram stops are also five minutes from your building, so it’s easy to get around the city on weekends. Bike storage is also available if you prefer to cycle.
After a busy day at university, retreat to the peace and quiet of your comfortable studio room at Bowman House. Freshen up with a hot shower in your bathroom, make a tasty snack in your private kitchen, then sit at the breakfast bar and read through your class notes. When an assignment is due, sit in your comfortable study chair and spread your notes across the desk. There’s Wi-Fi throughout, so you can crack on with researching your next assignment, or message your friends and make plans to meet for beer and burgers at nearby Ropewalk.
With work out of the way, lie back on your bed and watch your favourite shows on the flatscreen TV. If you’re in the mood for company, make your way down to the common room for a game of pool, and then kick back on the sofa there to watch your favourite Sky TV series with friends.
There are laundry facilities in your building, so you won’t have to make trips to the laundrette. The hospitality team are on hand to keep things running smoothly, and you’ll rest easy thanks to the CCTV and secure door entry.
