Make your home at The Glasshouse and start your day with an eight-minute stroll to Nottingham Trent University. Catch the bus to the University of Nottingham and you’ll get to class in 30 minutes. It’s a 20-minute walk to Nottingham Language School, and 15 minutes to Nottingham Trent International School. You can also take advantage of the secure bike storage outside your building and pedal to class in half the time.
Stop off at the shops on your way back home to The Glasshouse, and pick up everything you need to make dinner. There’s a supermarket inside your building, so you won’t have to carry your bags too far. Take the lift up to your room and go straight to your modern, fitted kitchen. If you live in a studio, you’ll have your own private kitchen, but there’s plenty of space to cook and eat even if you’re sharing with friends.
After you’ve eaten, head to your room for some focused study. Sit at your desk and connect to the Wi-Fi, or take your books to the shared living room or common room if you’d rather work with friends. When it’s time to take a break, get to know your neighbours over a game of pool in the common room, or take a seat on the sofa in your shared lounge and watch your favourite shows on the flatscreen TV. On sunny days, sit out in the courtyard and get some fresh air.
There are laundry facilities in your building and the hospitality team is available to help with any problems. Security is a priority with CCTV and secure door entry.
