Located a short walk from campus in the heart of the city centre, Student Castle York is the perfect base for your uni adventures. Student Castle York is a 20-minute walk from the University of York, or a 12-minute ride on the bus. On weekends, use the same bus to explore the rest of the city, or keep fit and borrow a bike from the property’s cycle racks instead. Pay a visit to York Minster, the jaw-dropping cathedral whose origins date back to the 7th-century or take a break from it all in the serene setting of the Museum Gardens.

After a long day in class or sightseeing around York, come home to your flat for a well-earned rest. Check for packages on your way past reception, then step through your door and kick off your shoes. Head to the kitchen area to grab a snack and catch up with your flatmates, then spend a while relaxing in front of the TV.
