Start your day with a jog around the pond at nearby Loring Heights Park. Reward your efforts with lemon poppy seed pancakes at Egg Harbor Café, then head back to your student housing to freshen up and get ready for a day exploring your new hometown. Make your way to Midtown to gaze at contemporary art at High Museum of Art, then change the pace with a shopping trip to Atlantic Station, where you’ll find countless shops and cafés, as well as a cinema. Get back to nature as you stroll the 40ft-high skywalk at Atlanta Botanical Garden, then end your day dancing to live music at Tabernacle.

You won’t waste any time getting to class when you’re based at Studios on 25th. Your home is an eight-minute drive away from Georgia Institute of Technology, and great public transport options mean that you can travel by bus and train to get to class in less than 30 minutes. It’s a 17-minute drive to Georgia State University, or you can take the train and be there in 35 minutes. There’s free parking available at your student housing.
