The Crescent at Fells Point

Leave your student housing each morning and head to class along cobblestoned streets. You’ll be based in the historic district of Fells Point, an area with a rich maritime past. Walk to Blue Moon Café for Captain Crunch French toast for breakfast, and come lunchtime you can dig into fresh Chesapeake Bay seafood in the eateries dotted about Harbor East – don’t miss the salmon teriyaki at RA Sushi Bar. Later on, you can swing by Peter’s Inn for shrimp and craft cocktails. Walk downtown on weekends to go shopping or take strolls along the waterfront, and wander past the marinas and pretty green spaces as you look out over the Patapsco River.

From your waterfront home you can reach Baltimore’s colleges by bus, car or bike. Both the University of Baltimore and John Hopkins University are within a 20-minute drive, while Loyola University Maryland and University of Maryland Baltimore County can be reached in around 25 minutes by car. Living in Fells Point, you can easily walk downtown in 30 minutes to explore your new neighborhood on weekends.

When you return to your apartment, swing by the concierge and collect any parcels that have been left for you, before catching the elevator up to your home. Pack your coat into your walk-in closet, then choose something comfy to wear to relax. Depending on which layout you choose for your new home, you can enjoy waterfront views from the balcony. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, walk across the hardwood floors and make a snack on the granite countertops in your kitchen. When you’re done, you can put a load of laundry into your washer dryer.

When you need to study, you can spread your books out in your room, hit the business center or connect to the Wi-Fi in the communal lounge, where you can also pick up a coffee. After, let off steam in the fitness center, or join an energetic class in the studio. Go for a dip in the heated swimming pool and sit out on the sun deck afterwards. When night falls, join friends beside the outdoor fireplace and grill some dinner, or watch a film with friends in the movie theater.
