On weekends, spend a lazy morning in your student housing, before filling up on piping hot croissants from Iggy’s Bread of The World bakery. Work off your indulgences with a stroll along the waterside trails of unspoiled nature area Fresh Pond, then continue your adventure into central Cambridge. Admire artworks ranging from ancient Assyrian sculptures to contemporary American paintings at the Harvard Art Museums, fill up on authentic Mexican cuisine at Border Café, or tuck into a steak at Beat Brasserie. In the evening, get tickets to open mic night at iconic folk music venue Club Passim .

In the morning, wake up in time for a workout in the fitness center before class, then throw your clothes in the washer dryer and sit down to eat at the breakfast bar. On weekends, use the bike share program to get around locally, walk 15 minutes to your nearest MBTA station or make the most of the on-site Zip Car rental. 

When you’re not exploring Waltham or venturing into central Boston, come home to your heated apartment. Pop a snack in the microwave, then curl up with a good book on the living area couch. Later, head to the resident’s lounge to catch up with your friends by the fireplace, or to Skype your family using the free Wi-Fi. In summer, the landscaped courtyard is the place to be, whether you’re practising your swing on the putting green, sprawling on the grass for an alfresco study session, or swimming a few lengths of the seasonal pool.

In the evening, fire up the outdoor grills, or opt for dinner in the kitchen instead.
