At Dwight Lofts, you’ll be based in Chicago’s Printer’s Row neighborhood in a former printing factory, within a 15-minute walk of the scenic lakefront. Step out your front door, and you’ll reach Columbia College in eight minutes on foot. If you need to travel farther afield, you can stroll less than five minutes to LaSalle Street Station or hop on the metro at Harrison.

Head back to your furnished apartment to unwind. Dump your bags on the sofa in the living area, and head to the fully equipped kitchen to make a start on dinner. You can pull up a stool to the kitchen island to eat, and store any leftovers in the fridge when you’re done. But if you’d rather not cook, you’ll find lots of options on-site to satisfy your hunger. Hit the Subway or Pat’s Pizza, and visit Dunkin’ Donuts for dessert.

Let off steam in the fitness center, and drop your kit off in the laundry facility after a good workout. Then, you can join your friends taking in the stunning views over Chicago from the lounge on the 11th floor, or make a start on your assignments. Connect to the high-speed internet and work at the desk in your room, or enjoy a group study session with friends in one of the study lounges. An art studio and music practice room are also available.

Finish up your night watching your favourite cable shows on your apartment’s 42-inch HDTV, or enjoying a relaxing soak in the tub in your shared bathroom.
