Step outside your student housing, hop on your bike and pedal to nearby Bee Creek Park. Cycle along the bike path or jog the trails, then go for a swim in Adamson Lagoon Waterpark, which has an Olympic-sized pool and spiral slides. Refuel at nearby Taz Indian Cuisine, which serves a fantastic lunch buffet: try the chicken tikka masala with unlimited naan bread. Get your shopping fix at Post Oak Mall, which is packed with big name stores. On sunny days, drive out to Lake Bryan, where you can relax by the water or ride on a jet-ski, then enjoy dinner and live music at Lakeside Icehouse.

It’s a 10-minute drive to Texas A&M University from your home at The Junction Cottages & Townhomes. If you’d rather leave your car at home, the free shuttle service will get you to-and-from campus in minutes.

After a long day at class, head home to meet friends beside the resort-style pool, or relax under a poolside cabana and work through your reading list. Burn off some steam with a workout in the state-of-the-art fitness Center or spin room, then soothe your aching muscles in the sauna and steam room. Back in your room, freshen up with a hot shower in your private bathroom, throw your gym gear in the washer dryer, and make a snack in your fully-equipped kitchen.

When you need to focus on your latest assignment, retreat to your room, connect to the free Wi-Fi and get to work. If you’d rather work with friends, there’s free Wi-Fi in the clubhouse and study hall and when you need peace and quiet, head to the business center and conference rooms instead. There’s a conference table and TV for laptop hook up, so it’s the perfect place to prepare group presentations.

With work out of the way, relax in your comfortable living area and watch cable TV, or meet friends in the outdoor communal area. Play sand volleyball as you wait for burgers to cook on the outdoor grills, then sit around the fire pits and swap stories about your day.
