Start your day with a jog through the nearby Grindstone Nature Area, or tackle the rail trails on the MKT Nature and Fitness Trail. Refuel with pit-smoked baked beans and pulled pork at Shotgun Pete’s BBQ Shack, or track down the Ozark Mountain Biscuit Co food truck for fried chicken and pecan pie. When you need to catch up on your reading, leave your student housing and sit with a fresh coffee and homemade granola at Café Berlin. When night falls, you can listen to live jazz there, or hit Ragtag Cinema to watch the latest film.

The University of Missouri is five minutes’ drive from your door, but you can also set yourself up for the day with a 15-minute bike ride to campus, winding through the nearby Grindstone Nature Area. Once you’re on campus, you can head up to Café Poland to pick up some coffee and pierogies before you make your way to class.

After your lectures, return home and relax on a sofa in the communal lounge. Shoot some pool in the game room to unwind, or hit the fitness center to let off some steam. When you’re done, you can head back to your apartment for a shower and to wash your sports kit in the washer dryer – all apartments come with one. Then, grab your favorite book and sit on the deck looking out over the grass, or catch up on the latest cable TV shows. Make yourself a snack in the kitchen microwave if you’re feeling peckish, before tossing your dishes in the dishwasher and getting back to your studies.

Sit at the dining table in the kitchen, study in the privacy of your bedroom or take your notes to the lounge to read. There’s high-speed internet throughout, so you won’t have to worry about staying connected with friends and family back home either.
