From West 20, you can walk to class at the University of Florida in just five minutes or cycle in less than two. If you need to get to the other side of the sprawling campus, the Gainesville RTS bus route stops outside your new home too. After class, spend the afternoon exploring contemporary art at the nearby Harn Museum or embracing UF’s sporting spirit at the lacrosse and football grounds in the Donald R. Dizney stadium.

Come home to unwind at the West 20 swimming pool. Make friends with your neighbors or have a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Play pool in the new clubhouse or watch a baseball game on the big screen with classmates. When you’re finished, grab some food and heat it up on the grills.

Stay on top of your fitness with a game of basketball or outdoor volleyball on the sport courts, or challenge yourself to a cardio session in the fitness center. On weekends, drive 15 minutes to Paynes Prairie, where you can go running or hiking and then park your car in the on-site parking lot when you get home.
