Leave your student housing and drive to nearby Newport Beach. Lie back on the soft sand and top up your tan, take a swim in the ocean, then ride the ferry across the bay to Balboa Island. When your five-minute voyage is over, make your way to Marine Avenue to browse the shops, and sample the island’s famous desserts: the frozen banana and the Balboa bar. When you’re in the mood for some retail therapy, update your wardrobe at Fashion Island, an upscale mall that’s packed with designer stores, or shop at Irvine Spectrum Center where you can take to the skies on the Giant Wheel.

Your new home at Villa Siena, Irvine is conveniently located for Irvine’s universities. Drive to University of California Irvine in six minutes, or cycle there in 18 minutes. It’s a nine-minute drive to Concordia University, and a seven-minute walk to University of Southern California, Orange County. Drive 11 minutes to reach Irvine Valley College and Brandman University. When you get back home, you can park safely in the gated, subterranean garage, which has elevators to the residence floors.

After a long day at college, come home and sit in the landscaped courtyards, read beside the fountain or relax in the poolside cabanas. If you’re feeling energetic, clear your head with a workout in one of the three fitness centers, or join friends on the two night-lit tennis courts and half-court basketball courts.
