Diamond Green

You’ll be living on a quiet street near Temple University, a short bus ride from central Philadelphia. Head into town after class and visit the Barnes Foundation to see artworks by Picasso and Renoir, or hit the Franklin Institute science museum to see the planetarium. Then, swing by Reading Terminal Market to pick up fresh local produce for your dinner, or wander over to DiNic’s to try the roast pork sandwich that was named the best in America. You can spend the day at Fairmount Park at the weekend, wandering along tree-lined trails and picnicking by the river.

Diamond Green is based next to Temple University, so you can dig into a nutella and banana pancake at The Creperie before you stroll less than 10 minutes to class. You’ll also find it easy to get to the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University, as downtown Philadelphia is less than 20 minutes away by car. After a busy day, park in Diamond Green’s on-site facility.

Back home, take the elevator up to your fully furnished apartment to unwind. Relax on the comfy sofa in the lounge area and watch cable shows on the flatscreen TV. Later, pick up some ingredients for lunch in the on-site grocery store, and cook up a storm in your well-equipped kitchen. If you’ve chosen a home with a balcony you can eat your meal alfresco, and load the dishwasher when you’re done.

After, you can head to the laundry facilities to wash some clothes, or get started on your assignments at the desk in your room. Connect your laptop to the free Wi-Fi if you need to do some research, and join your friends later in the communal study area. Let off steam in the fitness center after a good study session, or head to the on-site yoga studio for a class.

You’ll have access to a pizzeria if you feel like having a late-night snack, and a hookah lounge to relax with your friends. Utilities are included up to a set amount in your rent, so you won’t have to worry about your finances, and staff are available to help you 24 hours a day if you have any problems.
