For a breath of fresh air, take a walk on the nature trail past waterfalls and picnic areas at Springwood Park.

Living at The Annex of Richmond puts you a stone’s throw away from Ivy Tech Community College and Indiana University East. You can wake up on your own schedule and walk to either campus in less than five minutes. Pop back to your apartment in between classes for lunch or a quick study break. Then, on your way home in the evening, swing by Meijer supermarket right next door to stock up on groceries and home goods.

When you get back, enter your private bedroom and unpack your notes from school. Open up your laptop and use the Wi-Fi connection to get a jump on your research for an upcoming paper. Later on, pull on your sweats and make a beeline for the fitness center to get a workout in before dinner. Climb the stair master or take a jog on the treadmill.

After washing up in the bathroom, kick back in the 24-hour community clubhouse to watch your favorite show on a flatscreen TV. Make a quick snack using the kitchenette and kick back on the comfy couches. Afterwards, swing by the outdoor grilling area for one of the resident social events that frequently offer free food and fun activities.

Before hitting the books again, challenge your neighbors to a game of cornhole on the lawn. As you toss the bean bags back and forth, you can catch up on the latest news from around campus. When you’re done, step into one of the quiet study rooms to finish up your last bit of homework, before powering down for the evening.
