Take in some culture with an indie production at Stray Cat Theatre or a bigger Broadway show at ASU’s beautiful Gammage Theater. Stop off at House of Tricks for the best tuna melt in town, then hike up “A” Mountain for a memorable, moon-lit view of the city.
From Alight Tempe, you can stroll to class in about 20 minutes, or bike it in five minutes. When you’re in a hurry, jump on the air-conditioned Light Rail as campus is just two stops away, and you can ride one stop further to reach bustling downtown Tempe.
Back home at Alight Tempe, freshen up in your ensuite bathroom, then take a dip in one of two swimming pools, or work off the stress of your busy day in the fitness club, where the private TVs and iPod connections will keep you occupied while you workout.
If you’re in the mood to take it easy, relax in the hot tub, then stop off in the games room to play pool, shuffleboard, Wii or Xbox with your roommates. When the sun sets, head upstairs to the rooftop lounge to enjoy Tempe’s balmy evening weather. Get together with friends around the firepits and swap stories about your day while toasting marshmallows.
