Your new apartment is right across the street from Université Concordia and a 15-minute walk from the centre of Université McGill campus. Hop on the Métro, two minutes’ walk away, to wander around the rest of the city in your downtime.
Come home after a busy day and put your coat and bag away in your room’s ample storage area. Kick off your shoes and spend five minutes reading your emails on your phone using the included Wi-Fi, then make a cup of tea to sip while you watch your personal TV. When you start to feel peckish, rustle up some noodles in your room or head to the shared kitchen to cook dinner and hang out with your floormates in the living room.
When you’ve eaten, crank up the heat in your room to get cosy and tackle your assignment at your desk. If you hit a wall with your homework, call up a classmate for inspiration - with free calls in North America, you can spend as long as you like chatting. Freshen up in the shared or private bathroom before heading out for the evening to one of the cool bars and cafés in the streets around St-Cathy’s Residence, or close the curtains and drift off for a great night’s sleep.
