Start Sunday mornings with a leisurely stroll to Blackheath. Walk across the heath and buy fresh produce from the farmers’ market, then head to The Hare and Billet for a traditional roast dinner. Wander down towards Greenwich to hunt for vintage treasures in the Victorian market or explore historic clipper ship The Cutty Sark. Take a ride on the Emirates Air Line cable cars for spectacular views across London, or jump on the tube and get your shopping fix on Oxford Street. Closer to your student accommodation, enjoy Turkish food at Meze Mangal, and live music at The Fox and Firkin.
Make your home at Lewisham Residence and you’ll be conveniently located to reach all of Central London’s universities. Walk to the University of Greenwich in around 30 minutes, or take the DLR and get there in 17 minutes. Walk to Goldsmiths in 25 minutes, or catch the bus and arrive in 10. When you want to travel into London, catch a train from Lewisham station and reach London Bridge in 20 minutes. If you’d rather go by bike, you can store your wheels securely on site.
Even though you have the best of London at your fingertips, you’ll enjoy spending your free time at home in your three-bedroom apartment. Take a break from your studies and make your way to the elevated terrace with outdoor seating, or relax in the landscaped gardens. On grey London days, keep warm in the games area with table football and the pool table, watch a movie in the cinema or work out in the gym.
When you need to focus on college work, get together with friends in the study area, or connect to the super-fast broadband and work in your private room. There’s nothing to distract you from your latest assignment, as the housekeeping service will keep your workspace clean and tidy, and there are laundry facilities on site. If you’re expecting deliveries the post room will keep them safe, and there’s a management team to help with any day-to-day concerns.
Students can move in earlier but it needs to be approved from the landlord first.
