King’s College at The University of Queensland

The College operates as an academic residential community of undergraduate and postgraduate members drawn from across the country and international universities.

You can walk to class at the University of Queensland in 15 minutes, or take public transports around 40 minutes to the Queensland University of Technology.

At King’s College, you may have a wide choice of floor plans including standard room, shared en-suite, or private en-suite room. Every student lives in a single room, which comes fully furnished with the essentials a single bed, desk, desk lamp, wireless or wired internet connection, wardrobe, and bookcase. Make your room feel like home by bringing your own bed linen, TV, a small fridge and computer – the electricity is free!

King’s College has some of the best facilities of any Residential College in Australia. In addition to the state of the art living spaces, facilities also include a well-equipped gymnasium (including weights and cardio rooms), swimming pool, rowing shed and pontoon, 24 hour access to technology, tutorial/study rooms, Old Collegians’ Learning Centre, half basketball court with barbeque facilities and car-parks.
