When it’s time for a break, rustle up a snack in your apartment’s kitchen, before joining your neighbours for a game on the basketball court. Cool off afterwards in the stunning outdoor pool, or unwind on the poolside loungers. You can fire up the barbecue grills when hunger strikes and dine alfresco beside the water.

Finish up your evening in the student lounge, watching the flatscreen TV or challenging your friends to games of table tennis. Rest easy knowing staff are on hand 24 hours a day if you have any problems. But if you’d rather have a night out, get ready in your private bathroom, choosing something to wear from your pile of fresh laundry. Southport is full of trendy bars, including Not Tonight which is home to trivia nights and craft beer.
