After you submit your details to us, one of our booking consultants will contact you and help you every step of the day. We’ll get the contract all ready for you to sign and then you’re set to move in.
How much do I have to pay for your service?
Our service does not cost you anything! All you have to make sure you pay is your deposit and rent, which you’ll pay directly to your landlord. We’ll provide you the payment details when you’ve chosen your accommodation.
How long do I have to book for?
Many of our properties have their own fixed move-in and move-out dates that correspond with the academic year. Some of the properties we list do offer other dates too though, so if you need dates that don’t correspond with the typical academic calendar, don’t hesitate to contact us and we’ll be able to help.
How do I know my accommodation is safe and high quality?
We carefully vet every housing provider we feature to ensure that you can find your perfect home. The properties listed on our website were built and are managed specifically for students. They are also managed by experienced landlords who will make sure that you’ll have a great experience when you come to study at Goldsmiths, or any other university.
Can I choose who to live with?
Yes you can. As long as the person or persons you want to live with has also booked with Student.com, you can log into your account and make a note in your account preferences that you want to live together. Make sure your friend also makes the same note in their account so that we can match you.

Yes. Our booking consultants will be happy to arrange a viewing for you, so if you are already in London or are planning to visit before your university program starts, don’t hesitate to contact us and we’ll organize a viewing with the landlord.
I’ve found a property I like near Goldsmiths, but I don’t know what the different room options they offer mean.
The properties we list can have three different room types. Please note that some of the properties we list don’t necessarily have all three types available.
A Shared Room has two or more people sharing a bedroom. Any additional living space is shared with other rooms as well.
In a Private Room you have a private bedroom. Other facilities like living room, kitchen and bathroom are shared with other rooms.
If you rent the Entire Place, you will get a fully self-contained property. This means that all your living space as well as cooking and bathing facilities are only for you. It’s a great option for those we value their privacy.
Do I need to have a guarantor?
Many of our properties require a guarantor if the tenant is unable to show satisfactory funds or income to support the rental payments. A guarantor is a person (usually a family member) who co-signs the rent contract and is financially responsible for paying the rent if the tenant is unable to do so.
I’m currently a part-time student. Can I still book an accommodation with you?
Unfortunately this is not possible. The properties we list are managed by student accommodation providers, meaning they can only take full-time students.
