Frequently asked questions about student accommodation near Kingston University
How can I book student accommodation near Kingston Uni on Student.com?
You can use our search filters to compare listed student properties based on budget and other preferences. After selecting one that you like, go to the property page by clicking ‘View rooms’. There, you’ll need to choose your preferred room type and then click ‘Enquire’ or ‘Book Now’.
You’ll then be asked to leave your contact details which one of our booking consultants will use to contact you to take you through the next steps of the booking process and answer any questions you may have.
Why should I choose private accommodation over halls of residence?
Booking a private accommodation will provide you with a modern, convenient and well-secured private property. Many modern PBSAs (purpose-built student accommodations) have excellent facilities on offer for their students. These typically include things like games rooms, lounge areas and in-house gyms.
Living in private accommodation instead of halls or residence will also give you the option to freely choose your preferred room type, whether you want to stay in a shared apartment with flatmates or live in a studio apartment by yourself.
By booking a private property, you can also choose to live in any area of the city you like. With about 500 different properties on offer in London, you can surely find one in an area you like, and with good transport links to the KUL campus.
What are the different room types you offer?
We offer three different room types:
In a Shared Room you’ll share a bedroom with at least one person. Other living spaces will be shared with your roommate, as well as other tenants from other rooms.
In a Private Room the bedroom will be just for yourself. Depending on the property, your bathroom might be private or shared. Other living facilities are shared with other tenants.
If you book the Entire Place you’ll get your own bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette, meaning you’ll get a self-contained studio property without having to share with anyone.
Are bills included in the rent?
Typically, all bills are included, and you won’t have to pay for anything other than your rent. But make sure to check on the property page if this is the case with the property you like, as some properties have slightly different policies.
Are the rooms fully furnished?
Again, this will depend on the property you are interested in, but most of the properties we list in London are fully furnished.
