You’ll enjoy a quick and easy commute when you make your home at Briggs House. It’s a 10-minute walk to class at Leeds University, and a 15-minute walk to Leeds Beckett University. When you want to reach the city centre, catch the bus outside your building. If you have a bike, you can also store it on-site.
Come home to Briggs House after a day of lectures to freshen up with a hot shower in your private ensuite, then curl up on your comfy double bed and catch up with your reading. Sit at your spacious work area, connect to the free high-speed Wi-Fi and finish off an essay. If you work better with friends, host a group study session in the communal study lounge.
With work out of the way, get to know your neighbours in the social area, or get a breath of fresh air in the outside space. There are regular social events for residents, so it won’t take long to get to make new friends. On weekends, you can pick up freshly baked bread from Wiseman’s bakery, and stock up on essentials at the nearby supermarket, then cook dinner in the fully equipped kitchen. When you don’t feel like cooking, order take away and have a cosy night in with friends.
With all utility bills included in your rent, you’ll have more money to spend on big nights out at Mint Monday or Hifi’s Mixtape Project, or relaxed evenings at The Light, where you can grab a bite to eat and watch a movie. There’s CCTV and free contents insurance to keep you and your belongings safe, and the Briggs House management team are available to help with any problems.
