I love living at Host Wembley. The location is great - you can reach central London in 20 minutes from Wembley Park Underground station, which is 2 minutes' walk from Host. My deluxe room is very comfortable - I have everything I need here. The staff are great! Always kind and ready to help! Absolutely recommended student accommodation.

    我是去年9月搬进来的,确实刚开始有不少问题,比如没有热水,不过很快就都解决了。感觉房子质量比我很多朋友的都好啊,希望明年还住在这里。

It is generally okay and the staff are most of the time good but you might get a room like me living in the ground floor. The hall does not tell me which floor you are living until you arrive. Now it is winter, the room is extremely cold though I set the radiator working to the fullest. I myself is not a fussy person, I try to tell myself to endure the coldness till I get insomnia by the coldness in the dark night and woke up for several times. The next day I came to the reception with really low spirit and would like to borrow a temporary heator, the reception urges me to buy myself a heater (extra costs, it is actually not realistic for people not planning to live in London for long) and another staff avoids my eyeline and gave a promise which might be just for sending me away. It is understandable since the staff only work during daytime, the real cold come in nights, they might not understand. It is a bit difficult for me to fall asleep in nights now. So make sure the warmth of the room work for you!

    1. The internet connection is terrible. 2. The shower head ejects water like a machine gun ejects bullets, you have to try to avoid the line of fire but inevitably you get hit in the nipples multiple times. 3. The lighting in the room is truly awful, it is so dim that 2 or 3 lamps are required. It's made even worse by the fact that the only window is obscure and doesn't allow much sunlight in. Lack of sunlight should be made up for by better artificial lighting. However, the staff are very friendly - especially Darren is a lovely guy. The flat is very spacious with plenty of room to bring in extra furniture. The free gym is a fantastic perk and makes it much easier to exercise for people not willing to leave the house until necessary.

Not what I expected. Great people who work there, but very small rooms (I got a damaged room). Often issues in the room i.e shower, toilet, microwave and electricity. The Internet connection from Ask is also very poor and probably the worst part about living there. However, I want to give some credit as well. They have build a small gym and a communal room which is a step in the right direction. But you pay WAY TOO MUCH for very little. Gran Felda for example have their own swimming pool for students living there, and that is cheaper as well.

    Property Details

    Description:
With fantastic shopping, great restaurants and some of the world’s best entertainment, Host Wembley is an ideal base for students keen to see a less touristy side of London. There’s plenty of green space at nearby Fryent Country Park and Hampstead Heath, as well as a good selection of cinemas and theatres. And, of course, you’re less than 15 minutes by tube from central London - so there’s nothing stopping you from heading to Soho or Brixton for a day out.

Wembley is one of London’s busiest and most accessible suburbs, and Host Wembley is right in the middle of it. The local underground station is just two stops from Baker Street, with central London only a few minutes away. That means easy access to KCL, UCL and LSE, as well as to nearby Brunel University. And because Wembley is a few stops outside the centre of town, you’ll pay much less for your room than students living in busier areas.

Another great advantage of living in a less crowded area is that there’s more space for students. Every room at Host Wembley has an ensuite shower room, with shared kitchens for multi-bed flats and dedicated kitchenettes for those choosing studio or penthouse apartments. Other amenities include an on-site laundry room, 24-hour security and, of course, superfast Wi-Fi throughout.

Whether you want to spend your free time at home or out and about, Host Wembley is ideally placed. You can relax with your flatmates over a home-cooked meal (several supermarkets are nearby) or meet new people in one of the courtyards. If you feel like some variety, check out one of Wembley’s many restaurants - everything’s available, from fast food to fine dining.

Finally, you can’t miss the UK’s biggest stadium and one of the world’s most thrilling concert venues. Wembley Stadium, just a few minutes from your door, hosts gigs and sporting events throughout the year, with recent visitors including Eminem, One Direction and the stars of the NFL.
