The location is quite good and very convenient. The cleaning lady cleans the room, kitchen and the bathroom every week and changes the towel as well. If you have any problem, the staff and the receptionist are willing to help and easy to contact with.

It is like a family here. The rooms in Rathbone are very roomy, though admittedly there are some flats that are slightly larger than others. However, all the rooms are more spacious and cleaner than one would expect. The building is in a fantastic location, in the heart of W1, and right by major transportation hubs. Though noisy at times, I still remain that this is one of the best places for students to live in London.

There are various apartments consisting on average of three rooms, all equipped with common kitchen and one or two bathrooms. It is provided weekly bed linen and towels. Another strength his central and safe location with shops and restaurants nearby and from where you can easily reach also on foot the main attractions of London. To recommend and choose without any doubt.

It is a safe environment, people are friendly, all shops, restaurants, gyms are close by. It is a little bit noisy in the night due to central location.

    非常中心的地段,可以说是伦敦市中心了,当然这也意味着晚上会很吵。房子本身还是维护得挺好的,清洁工每周会打扫一次,厨房设施齐全。推荐在市中心念书的学生住!

Lived there for over a year, so this testimony is a balanced overview of the long term experience. I was living in a shared room with another person throughout. Good things to note first, it was great journey through which I had six roommates, two from Italy, two from Brazil, one from Germany and another from Japan. Also bonded strongly with the suitemates from the United States. The place is in a great location, 5 minutes walk from the station and 30 minutes walk from everything important to see in London. It also has weekly changing of linen sheets and towels, regular cleaning of garbage bins and free washing machine charge (a lovely asset). On the other hand, it's wifi really needs improvement. It regularly gets interrupted and the signal is perpetually bad. Near the end of the year, we also experienced a water shortage due to a pipe malfunction. The management did try to resolve by giving us keys to the lower floors, but even they had a lack of hot water from time to time. This persisted for over three weeks. The hot water remains overly hot with a poor balance of cold water. Overall: experience was fruitful and I made friends from all over the world. Yet for the price, I hoped for better hard service.

    Description:
Discover some of London’s best-loved attractions just a few steps from your student accommodation. Admire archaeological treasures including the Rosetta Stone and the Parthenon sculptures at The British Museum. Join the crowds filling Oxford Street’s major department stores, or check out the independent designers and indie craft stalls of Covent Garden Market instead. In the evening, meet your friends at trendy bar The London Gin Club for cocktails, before exploring the best of the West End. From smash-hit musicals to alternative gigs, this vibrant corner of the city comes alive after dark.

From Rathbone Apartments, it’s an eight-minute walk to the School of Oriental and African Studies, and a 13-minute walk to University College London. Use the bus stop across the road to reach the rest of the city’s campuses, or walk three minutes to Tottenham Court Road tube station. With all your furnishings provided (including cutlery, bed linen and towels), moving in couldn’t be easier whether you choose a private room or one shared with a friend.

Each morning, cook breakfast in your shared kitchen, or stop in at TAP Coffee for espresso and fresh pastries on the way to class. At the end of the day, catch up on your flatmates’ news around the dining room table, before curling up on your bed in front of the TV. Use the Wi-Fi to Skype home, or research a paper at your bedroom desk. When you’re finished, de-stress with a long soak in your bathroom tub – with all utilities included, you won’t have to ration your hot water usage. A weekly linen change and room clean is also provided, so it’ll be easier than ever to kick back and relax.

After your bath, throw your clothes in the washing machine and stroll four minutes up the road to your local supermarket. If you don’t feel like cooking, run the apartment iron over your best outfit and invite your friends out for dinner. Zelman Meats is the ultimate barbecue choice, while Govinda’s is your go-to for Indian-inspired vegan and vegetarian fare. When you get home, get a good night’s sleep knowing that your safety is being taken care of by the 24-hour CCTV.
